Last updated: February 25, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Church Repository.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Church Repository, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you are using Church Repository on behalf of a church, ministry, nonprofit, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Service Description

Church Repository is a multi-tenant SaaS platform for church and ministry operations, including people records, connection forms, attendance, prayer requests, donation records, analytics, public pages, and related workflows.

We may update, improve, or modify features over time, including adding, changing, or removing functionality.

Accounts and Workspace Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for activity performed through your account and tenant workspace.

Workspace owners and administrators are responsible for user invitations, role assignments, permissions, and disabling access for former staff or volunteers.

Acceptable Use

You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including privacy and communications laws relevant to your jurisdiction.

You must not: (a) upload malicious code; (b) attempt unauthorized access; (c) interfere with platform security or reliability; (d) use the service to send spam, fraud, or abusive content; or (e) process data you do not have rights to collect and use.

Customer Data and Content

You retain ownership of data and content you submit to Church Repository, including member and visitor records. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and back up this data only as needed to provide and secure the service.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and permissions for all data you collect and store, including special categories of personal data and minors' information where applicable.

Privacy and Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your data. No internet service can be guaranteed to be fully secure, and you acknowledge this inherent risk.

Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Third-Party Services

Church Repository may rely on third-party providers for infrastructure, email delivery, domain/DNS management, analytics, and file storage. Your use of related features may depend on these providers' availability and policies.

We are not responsible for outages or failures caused by third-party services beyond our reasonable control.

Availability and Support

We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and emergency fixes may affect availability.

We may suspend access when necessary to protect platform security, investigate abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

Fees, Billing, and Subscription Changes

Pricing and Billing Terms

Some features or plans may require payment. Pricing, billing intervals, and plan limits are published on our pricing page or provided during purchase.

Payment Processing (Merchant of Record)

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record and handles checkout, invoicing, and applicable tax collection.

Automatic Renewals

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing cycle until canceled. You can request cancellation before the next renewal date to avoid future charges.

Free Trial

We may offer a free 14-day trial for eligible plans. We do not automatically convert trial accounts into paid subscriptions and we do not charge you automatically when the trial ends.

When the trial expires, access to paid features is suspended and your workspace enters an archived state. During this archived period, you may still export your data.

If no paid subscription is started within 30 days after trial expiry, archived data may be permanently deleted.

Refund Policy

Refund Window

Consumers may cancel and request a refund within 14 calendar days of the day after the initial transaction without giving a reason.

How to Request a Refund

To exercise this right, contact [email protected] before the 14-day period ends. If approved, reimbursement is made to the original payment method without undue delay.

Paddle Buyer Terms

Buyer transactions are also subject to Paddle's buyer terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/invoiced-consumer-terms.

Subscription Renewals

For subscription services, this 14-day cancellation right applies to the initial subscription purchase and does not restart on each automatic renewal. Unused subscription periods are not refundable.

Digital Content Exception

Where digital content or services are supplied immediately and fully performed after purchase, the right to cancel may be limited as permitted by applicable consumer law.

Intellectual Property

Church Repository, including the software, branding, and platform materials, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your active subscription or authorized access period.

Termination

When Access May End

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these Terms, security risks, prolonged non-payment, or legal requirements.

What Survives Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, but sections that by nature should survive (including payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute terms) will remain in effect.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Service Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from or related to use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted on this page unless a later date is stated. Continued use of Church Repository after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
