Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Church Repository collects, uses, and protects your information.
Scope and Roles
This Privacy Policy applies to Church Repository and explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when operating our platform and related services.
For data entered by church organizations in their tenant workspaces (for example members, visitors, and connection-card submissions), the church organization is generally the data controller and Church Repository acts as a service provider/processor on its behalf.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, such as account registration details, organization details, billing information, support messages, and settings/preferences.
We also collect data processed through product usage, such as records created in tenant workspaces (people, attendance, prayer requests, donation records, and public form submissions), as well as technical and usage data (IP address, browser/device metadata, page interactions, and timestamps).
How We Use Information
We use information to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve Church Repository; authenticate users; process transactions; deliver product features; and provide customer support.
We may also use information to communicate service notices, policy updates, security alerts, and administrative messages. We do not sell personal information.
Legal Bases (Where Applicable)
Depending on your location, we process personal data under one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (such as service security and reliability), legal obligations, and consent where required.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, secure logins, remember preferences, and understand platform usage. You can control cookies through browser settings, but disabling certain cookies may impact functionality.
How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate the service, including with infrastructure, storage, analytics, email, and payment providers acting on our instructions.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms, protect rights/safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and customer configuration.
Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No security method is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
If your data is managed by a church organization using Church Repository, please contact that organization first. You may also contact us and we will assist as required.
Children's Data
Church Repository may process data about minors when submitted by authorized organizations for legitimate ministry operations. Organizations are responsible for obtaining required permissions/consents and complying with applicable child data protection laws.
Third-Party Links and Integrations
The service may include links or integrations with third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The updated version is effective when posted unless a later date is stated. Continued use of the service after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
